Development of the “OmegaTag” intelligent tool for processing meta information in MP3 files. Due to its intuitive usability, OmegaTag is rapidly gaining wide acceptance in the market. Alongside the positive user feedback, extensive online reports by the trade press rapidly accumulate, and Computerbild magazine publishes an article in their print magazine.
With the formation of BlueRain Software GmbH & Co. KG, a transformation happened – from freeware project team to professional software wizards. That was accompanied by the continued development of OmegaTag due to ever-increasing demand for music streaming.
From now on, BlueRain primarily develops custom software for industry, including software for laser measuring devices, storage software and interfaces between different IT systems (SAP, etc.).
Andreas Vratny and Marius Heinemann-Grüder develop the “Reflect” Android app for voice-controlled learning at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. This makes it possible to answer predefined catalogues of questions from all over the world and to develop a protocol from this. For instance, the app is used by doctors to document their daily work.
Andreas Vratny and Marius Heinemann-Grüder create their Bachelor’s thesis titled “Planning and creation of a discrete-variable production simulation with web technologies”, in which a fully variable production simulation was developed. In what they called the Supply Chain Simulator, participants get into teams, plan complete production processes and develop bottleneck strategies. Today, the software is used by universities, higher education institutions and in prestigious companies to train executives.
Beginning of the development of the company-wide industry 4.0 information system “BarCollect” and the digital transfer point for the industrial “ID4i” nomenclature which is recognised world-wide.
